Week 10 – Art Activity – Intermedia


- My idea was about the election associated with people, form application to register, identification. 
- Three media choices include drawing, painting, imaging, and sculpture. 
- I think drawing is the most basic method to easily explain an demonstrate my ideas and thoughts, and messages through the drawing. Sculpture was somehow less efficient, and time consuming. I think If I have chosen other method which would not illustrate enough meaning of my messages. 
- This was my drawing on my tablet with paint application, I am really satisfied as this is how I draw by my thinking and convert it into to symbol drawing.

Week 12 – Public Art

  My concept was to know what family members think about me when living together ? What things I did was sometimes annoyed them that they did not tell me.  I got a paper and asked them to write a sentence to describe something they hate about me. I think this strategy as the most simple and easily keep them engaged in my assignment without a proper explanation.  As I predicted, all the sentences from my mother, my brother, and my dad were straight forward. It was for certain they had endured me for a long period of time of some of my bad habits. The insight was I knew I had some bad habit living at house, but as one of the family member, I think they did love me so much for enduring it all the time. :)

Week 10 – Artist – Joseph DeLappe & Micol Hebron

Joseph DeLappe is the professor of Games and Tactical Media at Abertay University in Dundee, Scotland. His work has been focusing on electronic and new media since 1983. His works also includes a variety of online gaming performance, sculpture and electromechanical installation have been shown throughout in the United States and abroad - including exhibition and performances in Australia, the United Kingdom, China, Germany, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Mexico, Italy, Peru, Sweden and Canada.  Micol Hebron is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice includes studio work, curating, writing, social media, crowd-sourcing, teaching, public-speaking, and both individual and collaborative project. She was also an Art professor at Chapman University. She employs strategies of consciousness-raising, collaboration, generosity, play, and participation to support and further feminist dialogues in art and life. Wk 5 – Artists OTW – [Romero Britto] & [Ben Eine]

 Romero Britto was a Brazilian-born and Miami-made artist. He was considered one of the most famous artis in globe. Romero inspire internationally renowned artist who has created an iconic visual language of happiness, fun, love and hope all its own inspiring millions worldwide. His work was focusing on cognitive conception of happiness. He presents us with a vivid visualization of happiness, a welcoming world that is within our reach.  Ben Eine is letterform artist. He is a graffiti writer who paint those huge, bright and colorful letters on shutters all over East London. He was also in love with fashion where he found the relationship to partner with Louis Vuitton and create his own clothing brand.
